Dear friends,
I am candidate for a position in Farmington public school board for a four year term. Elections are scheduled on Nov 3rd 2009.
Today Farmington public schools are facing an unprecedented budget deficit. This year deficit is $9M and by 2011 it is expected to grow to $22M. We must find ways to reduce spending – smartly, That is, while still maintaining the quality of our education. Also we must prepare our children for the challenging conditions in the world they are expected to face in the future.
In this challenging times we need a new voice in the school board to promote fresh ideas to improve our schools. I have unique qualifications which will make me a great asset to our schools.
